The Most Reverend Dr Glenn Davies, Adam Tompkin, Ethan Payne, Senator Arthur Sinodinos, Amity Jackson and Tiana Robinson at the unveiling of the plaque.
On Tuesday morning (17 February) we hosted a number of distinguished guests at the Official Opening of the Senior Studies Centre.
Senator Sinodinos represented the Commonwealth Government and advocated the importance of getting the best education possible. The Anglican Archbishop, The Most Reverend Dr Glenn Davies spoke about the meaning of the name of God, “I am who I am”. God is the reliable one who is always there for us when we turn to Him. The words “I AM” are now painted on the Bell Tower of the building. The school ensemble accompanied the National Anthem and was led by Celeste Townsley, with Cassie McKie on the cello. Victoria Hadfield sang “Cornerstone”. We are in the planning stage for the next extension, three or possibly four Junior School classrooms underneath the existing building. We rejoice that the Commonwealth granted us $450,000 to build these classrooms. Praise God for these developments at the school.
